Pinhal das Artes!

6.7.09

In the end of Pinhal das artes they asked us to all write a few words about what we most liked about our weekend... My son also wanted to participate. He drew lumpy and melman (his two favourite fluffs) swinging in this bed our dear neighbours put up right next to our tent... he had a great time laughing there...

I wrote “the feeling of peace” which i had the whole time... people would not save up on smiles, generosity, empathy, joy, child loving... goodness... the whole fair was made in a voluntary regime, lunch, the theme tents...
my tent was called “abraçarte” which can mean: hugging you, or the arte of hugging)... i am glad to share with you some images of parents and grandparents who are not afraid of touching their children in a healthy way, just like in many tribes throughout the world who are more conected to instinct. There where many different tents, some told stories, some taught music...

C said that it seemed like we were living in some completley alternative comunity, and we were – REALLY!. In the end, hugs, more songs, sharing thoughts, and sayig goodbye, the hard part...

See you next year... if they don't invite me, i will go anyway!
